Playing at the new fields in albertville, the Birmingham Giants 10u Baseball team raised their fall record to 7-2, rolling off a 3-1 record to grab the Perfect Game title. In their first pool play game, the Birmingham Giants 10u were matched up with ASA from Cullman. Grey Carter started the game on the hill and Cooper Gilliam closed out the final inning of the 14-6 win. At the plate Justin Hill (1), Kobe Embry (3B), Ross Christy (2B), Brody Flack (2), Max Bell (1), Kodi Embry (1), and Kam Laws (1) all had hits for the Giants in the win.
In game 2 of pool play, the Giants suffered their only loss of the day to Hits. Offensively Kobe Embry (1), Max Bell (HR), Kodi Embry (1), and Kam Laws (1) all had hits in the loss. The Giants finished pool play at 1-1, seating 2nd heading into bracket play.
In their first game of bracket play, the Giants were again paired with ASA. 4 first inning runs and 6 more in the second put the game out of reach and the Giants cruised to a 10-0 win. Brody Flack allowed just 1 hit over 4 innings, while striking out 10. Justin Hill (2), Kobe Embry (2), Ross Christy (2), Brody Flack (1), Kodi Embry (2), Taylon Johnson (2), Cooper Gilliam (1), and Kam Laws (1) all had hits in the win. The win moved the Giants into the championship game.
Max Bell started the championship game, allowing just 3 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 2, and Justin Hill (1), Kobe Embry (1), Ross Christy (3), Brody Flack (2), Max Bell (2), Kodi Embry (1), Taylon Johnson (1), Cooper Gilliam (1) and Kam Laws (1) all had hits as the Giants rolled to a 6-2 win and the championship.
