Playing in an event to help raise money for the victims of the Fultondale Tornado the 10u Birmingham Giants 10u Baseball team rolled off 4 straight to bring home the title. In their first pool play game, the Giants faced off with Sparten Baseball, After leading 6-1 through 2 innings, the Giants erupted for 11 runs in the 3rd inning to pull away 17-1. Justin Hill (3), Kobe Embry (3), Brody Flack (3), Daylen Woods (2), Caisen Price (2), Taylen Johnson (1), Max Bell (2), Kodi Embry (1), Brody Gowan (2), Legend McMiller (1) Goose Gilliam (1), and Kam Laws (2) all had hits for the Giants and Kidi Embry and Justin Hill shuit the spartens down on the hill for the Giants.
In their second game of pool play the Giants faced off with the Dirt Boys , Goose Gilliam pitched 3 innings, allowing 1 hits and striking out 3, and at the plate Justin Hill (1), Kobe Embry (2), Brody Flack (2), Daylen woods (2), Caison Price (1), Taylen Johnson (2), Max Bell (1), Kodi Embry (2), Legend McMiller (1) and Goose Gilliam (1) all had hits as the Giants rolled 18-0, seeding first after pool play.
In Pool play the Giants were again matched up with Dirt Boys Baseball. Brody Flack and Kobe Embry allowed just 5 runs over 5 innings and Justin Hill (2), Kobe Embry (1), Brody Flack (1), Daylen Woods (1), Caison Price (2), Taylen Johnson (2), Max Bell (1), Kodi Embry (2), Legend McMiller (1), and Goose Gilliam (1) all had hits in the win that sent the Giants to the Championship game with a 10-5 victory.
