Playing in their 2nd to last tournament of the Summer, the Birmingham Giants 10u Carroll posted a 3-1 mark, moving their season mark to 35-15-1, just 5 shy of the all time softball season win mark of 40. In their first game of pool play, the Giants were matched up with Fosters Pride. Harper Riley allowed no hits over 4 innings, while striking out 5 and Giants hitters pounded out 5 hits, (Alyssa Brome (1), Skylan Dyson (3B), Kendall Burch (1), Khloe Kennedy (1), and Abigail, Erreca (1)) as they cruised to a 6-0 win over Fosters Pride. In game 2 of pool play, Skylan Dyson tossed a No Hitter, allowing no hits over 4 innings, while striking out 4, and Abigail Erreca (1), Khloe Kennedy (1), Ralee Burgett (2B), Haylee Gothard (2B), and Addison Praytor (1) all had hits as the Giants advanced through pool play 2-0 with the 7-2 win.
In their first game of Bracket play against the SWAT 10u, Kendall Burch recorded every out of the 3 inning game via strike out, without allowing a hit for the Giants 2nd no hitter all time, and the Giants offense exploded for 11 hits, Abigail Erreca (2), Ralee Burgett (3B), Khloe Kennedy (1), Haylee Gothard (1), Harper Riley (2), Addison Praytor (1), Sophia Carroll (2), and Skylan Dyson (1) as the posted 8 runs on their way to the 8-0 win. the win moved the Giants into the finals.
In the finals, the Giants pounded out 8 hits, Abigail Erreca (2), Khloe Kennedy (2), Sophia Carroll (1), Skylan Dyson (1) and Alyssa Broome(1) but it was not enough as the Giants fell 6-1, finishing 2nd.
