After dropping their first pool play game on saturday, the Birmingham Giants 11u Baseball team rolled off 3 straight to bring home the championship. In their second game of pool play, the Giants were matched up with Seventeen Baseball. Jace Bufford allowed just 2 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 3 and Jonah Hunt (1), Eli Latham (2B), Kenneth Walker (1), Liam Veasey (1), Easton Lafoy (2B), Rhett Parker (1), Cooper Lafoy (1), Caleb Ross(1) all had hits for the Giants in the 13-1 win.
The win moved the Giants into bracket play 1-1, and their first match up with the Cullman Cats. Kenneth Walker allowed no hits over 4 innings and struck out 7 in tossing the Giants 126th No Hitter all time. At the Plate Eli Latham (1), and Liam Veasey (2B) both had hits for the Giants in the 4-3 win. The win moved the Giants into the Championship game to face off with the Alabama Legends.
In the championship game Rhett Parker allowed just 5 hits over 4 innings while striking out 5 and Eli Latham (2 1 2B), Liam Veasey (1) and Easton Lafoy (2B) all had hits for the Giants as they won 10-4 and brought home the championship.
