The Birmingham Giants 11u won 3 out of 4 games on their way to a 2nd place finish. Starting off their day in pool play, the Birmingham Giants were matched up with EA Baseball. At the plate, Jonah Hunt (2B), Kenneth Walker (1), Easton Lafoy (HR), and Rhett Parker (1) all had hits for the Giants and Rhett parker picked up the win in relief as the Giants won 12-8. In their second game of pool play, the Giants were matched up with the Alabama Legends. Jace Buford, Carson Ross and Jonah Hunt allowed juts 3 hits over 4 innings, while striking out 5 and Liam Veasey (1), Jonah Hunt (2), Kennith Walker (3 1 2B, 2 3B), and Easton Lafoy (2B) all had hits as the Giants rolled to a 10-2 win.
In bracket play, the Giants faced off with the Helena Misfits. In a very close back and forth game the Giants scored 3 runs in the final inning, to seal the 6-5 win. Kennith Walker struck out 7 over 4 innings and Jace Buford close outh the final 2 innings of the win, offensively Kennith Walker (2 1 2B) Easton Lafoy (2B), Jace Buford (2), and Rhett Parker (1) all had hits for the Giants in the win that moved them into the finals. In the finals Giants pitching struck out 6 over 6 innings, and the Giants offense pounded out 11 hits , (Liam Veasy (1), Easton Lafoy (3, 1 2B), Kennith Walker (3 2 2B), Jace Buford (2), Cooper Lafoy, and Eli Latham (1) but it was not enough as the Giants fell 7-3.
