The 13u Birmingham Giants, playing in the 14u Division rolled off 4 straight wins to capture the championship in St Clair. In their first game of pool play the Giants were matched with the Hewitt Hitman. Caleb Oden allowed just 2 hits while striking out 8 over 4 innings. At the Plate hits from Foster Phillips (1), DJ Parker (2B), and Caleb Oden (1) all had hits in the 3-1 win. In game 2 of pool play the Giants were matched with the Arab Smoke. Levi Voss struck out 6 over 2 innings, and Porter Wolfe closed out the final inning of the 7-0 win. At the plate, Foster Phillips (1), Kellan Randall (1), Caleb Oden (1), Andrew Parrish (1), and Asa Davis (1) all had hits in the 7-0 win.
In Bracket play the Giants were again matched up with Smoke. DJ Parker and Andrew Parrish struck out 4 over 3 innings, and hits from Caleb Oden (1), Luis Chavez(1), to go along with 8 walks powered the Giants to a 7-6 win and a birth in the Championship. In the Championship the Giants faced the Hewitt Hitman again,. Foster Phillips allowed just 2 hits while striking out 5 and hits from Levi Voss (2B), Cole Miller (1), DJ Parker (1), Kellan Randall (1), and Easton Gunnels (1) were enough as the Giants won 7-0 to bring home the Championship.
