Preston Jones is beginning his 3rd season with the Birmingham Giants as a Pitcher/Catcher/1B/Outfielder.
Known as “Smurf” to his team , Preston holds a career .300 average with 3 extra base hits, 5 RBI and 8 stolen bases. On the mound he holds a record of 1-1 in 3 career starts with 8 k’s and a devastating knuckleball.
Preston continues to make his name behind the plate as a high level catcher, a role he has continued on his school “A” team. Playing up 1 year has not effected his performance in the slightest as he continues to thrive as a Birmingham Giants.
