On Tuesday April 1st, 2014 Birmingham Giants Quenton Kersey and his Winfield High School team mates won the 4×100 relay by a 10 second margin over several local schools.
The Winfield boys finished the event in less than 55 seconds. Later in the 100 meter event Kersey ran a 12.1 100 meter to capture gold for the Pirates to help propel Winfield to yet another first place victory for the third straight event in as many weeks.
