Ka’mya Hampton tossed the 4th no hitter in Birmingham Giants history on Saturday afternoon in her first career start.
Working 4 innings of no hit ball, while striking out 5 Kmac was in complete control from the first inning to the last. The Giants second no hitter if the season hamptons no hitter, capped a 2-0 pool play record and a second overall seed going into bracket play.
At the plate Kmac was 2-4 with a home run. The no hitter was helped by catcher Lauren Cabiness’s 2 caught stealings.
