Birmingham Giants Baseball hurler and center fielder Quenton Kersey participated in the NUC (National Underclassmen) football combine on Sunday May 4th, 2014 in Birmingham, Alabama.
“Q” as he is called posted a 5.2 sec time in the 40 yard dash, jumped a standing broad jump of 7’6″, jumped 9’4″ in the vertical jump, and lifted 135 lbs for 21 repetitions. Quenton’s father just received word that Quenton placed in the top 10% and will be headed to South Atlanta on June13th to participate in the NUC Ultimate 100. As a rising Freshman this year Quenton has already received 8 invites to attend college football camps for evaluation purposes by those schools.
