The Birmingham Giants in preparation for the creation of its 01 fast pitch team, have named Kristie Harris of Hoover as the Assistant coach.
A long time staple in the softball community, Kristie has coached on the school level (Mtn. Brook 06-11), and youth level, and brings the experience of a former division 1 catcher/outfielder (94-98 Samford Univ). “We are pleased and excited to add such a great coach with college roots to our program” said Rob Kersey of the Birmingham Giants.
Kristie lives in hoover with her husband and 2 children, and work for the Mountain Brook School system. The 01 Giants will begin practice late in the fall and begin play in 2015
