Mollie Freeman becomes 30th Birmingham Giant to play spring School Ball

The Birmingham Giants are proud to announce Mollie Freeman became the 30th Giant this season to make her school ball team, playing this spring with the Cordova Blue Devils. Playing as a 7th grader Freeman will play 3rd and 2nd for the Blue Devils. Coach Kiley Barton said of the news ” This is a girl who has been so special to me, we have been together a long time, and to see her achieve this for herself, is just special, she will be great.” Coach Sean McGuire said of Freeman” Mollie is a great girl, who works hard and is extremely competitive, she earned this. For the last year I have known her, nobody has outworked her.”
