The Giants lead off hitter, Charles ” Cobby” Cobb is entering his 5th full season with the Giants. The sweet swinging left handed hitter with speed is a tremendous asset for the Giants line up that is now loaded with guys behind him that can drive him in. In the spring of 2014, Charles broke up a no hitter at historic Rickwood field and tied the game with a 2 out, 2 strike,2 run triple into the right field corner. A career .416 hitter, with 3 double and 4 triples, and 43 stolen bases, his consistent approach continues to serve him well as he continues to get better.
