We follow all of the NCAA rules that allow the coaches to be on the field with the players so you get to talk to, get feedback from and instruction from them.  Visit our website

The Birmingham Giants and Demarini Top 96 have announced today a partnership that will allow all players who play in the Giants organization to receive 2 showcases each at a discounted rate.  “We are excited and pleased to be able to align with such a valuable and trusted organization as the Top 96. What they are able to do for so many players who dream about playing on the next level is amazing”  said coach Greg Garcia, of the Birmingham Giants, www.birminghamgiants.com

About the DeMarini Top 96

The TOP 96 partners with DeMarini/Wilson to conduct College Coaches Baseball Clinics for High School and Junior College/Community College players throughout the United States.

By attending one of our clinics you will learn what it takes to play at the next level from current college coaches who are also actively recruiting players.

Founded in 1994, originally to run “Showcases” in the Boston, MA area, the TOP 96 grew in size and reputation attracting players from all over the country who wanted to attend colleges in New England with as many as 1,000 players applying for spots each year.

Because of our reputation for quality, honesty and integrity, Louisville Slugger approached us in 2003 about forming a partnership with a long-range goal of expanding our events outside of Massachusetts. Through 2009 that partnership allowed us to grow to 45+ clinics with approximately 3,500 players.

In 2010 we changed our naming-rights partner, joining up with DeMarini/Wilson Sporting Goods Co., and grew to more than 50 clinics with over 4,000 players.

We run several types of clinics, all using the same format.  The only difference between our clinics is the college coaches that attend.  The types of clinics we run are as follows:

  • Local/Regional Clinics
    • Mix of DI, DII, DIII, JC and NAIA colleges
    • Mix of head coaches and assistant coaches
  • Academic College Coaches Clinics
    • Mix of DI, DII, DIII, JC and NAIA colleges
    • Mix of head coaches and assistant coaches
    • All coaches come from schools ranked as “More” or “Most” Selective
  • Head Coaches Clinics
    • Primarily DI colleges
    • Primarily Head Coaches
  • JC/CC Clinics
    • Only for JC/CC players
    • Mix of DI, DII, DIII, JC and NAIA colleges
    • Mix of head coaches and assistant coaches

Our clinics are open to all high school players (and JC/CC) on a first come first served basis and we limit the number of players we take at each position
