The Jackson 96ers and the Birmingham Giants are proud to announce the Birmingham Giants will now be a part of the Jackson 96er organization. One of the most successful and elite travel baseball programs in the country, (established 1979), the 96ers and their Executive Director Derek Topik have a long history of producing not only championship teams (3 world series Titles and several regional titles) but they have also landed countless players in both college and in professional baseball.
While the Giants will operate independently financially, they will share sponsorship opportunities with the 96ers, loan players when needed, and will carry the addition to the Giants name, 96ers East, as well as other perks that will be passed between the 2 teams.
Rob Kersey, head coach of the Giants said of the partnership, “We are proud and excited to be associated with an organization with such a long and tradition of great baseball. The 96ers are responsible for so many great players, like Roy Oswalt, and Curt Ford, and so many others that have gone on to the next levels of baseball” Visit the 96ers website at : http://www.eteamz.com/jackson96ers/
