First Tournament

Blakely Burr recorded her first victory in the circle, tossing 4 shut out innings, allowing just 1 hit, while striking out 3. At the plate Ka’Mya Hampton (2)hit her first home Run of the season, and hits from Kinley Hall (2), Mollie Freeman (2b), Blakely Burr (1), and Kim Livingston (1) led the offense.

Ally Parker allowed just 2 hits and 1 unearned run through 4 innings in the 2-1 loss. The Giants offense managed just 1 hit over the 4 innings( Kinley Hall ) and just 1 run in the loss.

In their first game of Bracket play, the Giants again faced off with the Magic, this time with a different result. Ka’Mya Hampton picked up her first victory of the season, allowing just 2 hits over 4 innings, while recording 4 strike outs. At the plate hits from Allison Roberson (2), Alex Fayet (2, 2b), Lauren Cabiness (1), Ka’Mya Hampton (1), Kinley Hall (2), Blakely Burr (2b), Kim Livingston (2), and Tori Morrison (1) led to the 10 Giant Runs.

Blakely Burr (5-1) picked up her 2nd victory of the weekend, allowing just 3 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 2. Ka’Mya Hampton hit her 2nd home run of the tournament and a double, and hits from Allison Roberson (3b), Lauren Cabiness (3, 2b), Kinley Hall (2), Mollie Freeman (1), and Kim Livingston (1) led to the 8 Giant runs. The win moved the Giants into the championship game.

After leading for 4 innings, the Giants surrendered 5 unearned runs in the 5th inning to lose 5-2.Ka’Mya Hampton (3-3) allowed just 3 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 3. At the plate Lauren Cabiness (1), Kinley Hall (1), Mollie Freeman (2), Kim Livingston (1), and Allie Parker (1) all had hits for the Giants.

Giants 6 Nightmare 1 (No Hitter)
The Giants managed just 2 hits, to go along with 5 walks, but it was enough to push 6 runs across in the 6-1 victory. Mollie Freeman (1) and Callie Simmons both had hits for the Giants. Allie Parker threw 3 shut out innings in tossing the Organizations 26th no hitter all time, striking out 3.

In the driving rain, the Giants offense pounded out 6 hits and 5 runs in a 5 -5 tie with freedom fast pitch. Hits from Allison Roberson (1), Alex Fayet (1), Lauren Cabiness (3b), Ka’Mya Hamoton (1), Kinley Hall (1), and Kim Livingston (1) produced the 5 Giant Runs. Blakey Burr started in the circle allowing just 5 hits over 5 innings, and 3 earned runs, while striking out 3 in the tie.

Recording their 3rd shut out of the season, the 02 Giants pitcher Allie Parker tossed a 1 hit shut out in the win over Express. At the plate Allison Roberson (1), Alex Fayet (3b), Kinley Hall (1), Mollie Freeman (2, 2b), Kim Livingston (2b), Blakely Burr (3b), and Allie Parker (1), all had hits for the Giants.

Ka’Mya Hampton allowed 5 hits and 3 earned runs over 5 innings, and hits from Allison Robers (1), Alex Fayet (1), Lauren Cabiness (2b), Kinley Hall (2), and Mollie Freeman (2) were not enough in the 5-3 loss.

4 unearned runs allowed the Giants to fall behind early and eventually fall 6-4. Mollie Freeman (2b), Ka’Mya Hampton (HR), and Blakely Burr (1), had hits for the Giants.

Ka’Mya Hampton fired the Giants 27th no hitter all time allowing just 4 runners while striking out 8 for the win. Alex Fayet (1), Lauren Cabiness (2, 2b), Ka’Mya Hampton (1), and Allie Parker (1) all had hits for the Giants.

Blakely Burr pitched 5 strong innings, as the Giants dropped a 5-4 game in extra innings. Alex Fayet (1), Lauren Cabiness (2b), Ka’Mya Hampton (1), Kinley Hall (1), and Kim Livingston (2) had hits as the Giants out hits and out played their opponent but came up short.

Allie Parker allowed just 4 earned rubs over 4 innings, and hits from Allison Roberson (1), Alex Fayet (1), Lauren Cabiness (2), Ka’Mya Hampton (1), Kinley Hall (2b), Mollie Freeman (2b), and Callie Simmons were not enough.
