As the 2017 class of Birmingham Giants Seniors become the first ever group in the organizations history to reach the offer and signing age, offers have been plentiful for them and with 3 offers of her own and more visits scheduled Grace graham was no exception. On Monday, August 8th, Grace accepted the offer from a school she had talked about attending for a while, Faulkner State with coach Mallory Radwitch.
Birmingham Giants 18u coach Heather McGuirk said of hearing the news about Grahams commit
“Grace has put in the hardwork on and off the field, which has carried her through the long recruiting process successfully. She has done everything we have asked her to and there is no doubt it has paid off for her. When the work is put in, the outcome takes care of itself. We are proud and excited for Grace and are looking forward to seeing her preform well on the next level.”
Speaking for the Birmingham Giants organization, Sean McGuire said “Grace is our first commit from what should be a good class of 2017 for us, we are extremely proud of her. She and her family were great about communicating where she was in the process and the work she was putting in all along the way, which made the process much easier. This is a great achievement for a great player, great student and an even better young women, Coach Radwitch really got a special person and player.”
Grace will complete her senior year at West Blocton before heading to Faulkner State
