It was an all-around spectacular night for seventh-grader Alyssa Faircloth in Holy Spirit’s 9-1 softball victory over Holt in its season opener. Faircloth pitched a complete game, striking out 17 batters and giving up just one run. At the plate, Faircloth was a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBIs.
Lilly Laubenthal batted 4-for-5 and also drove in a pair.
