In game 2 of pool play, the Giants next opponents were the Alabama Braves. In a game that was close through out, the Giants used a 7 run 4th inning to pull away with a 15-11 win and a spot in the world series finals. With the win, the Giants became the champions of the winners bracket, which meant the would have to be beaten twice in the finals to be beaten out. In the championship game, the Giants opponent was the Homewood Patriots. The Patriots jumped out early grabbing an 11-2 lead after 2 innings, a lead the Giants would not recover from, eventually losing 13-7. In game 2 of the World Series finals, The Giants wasted no time in regaining their winning ways, Jumping out to an 8-2 lead, on their way to a 11-3 victory.
