The Birmingham Giants 04 raised their season record to 15-9-1 with the sweep through the Steel City Showcase posting a 5-0 record. In their first game of pool play the Giants faced off with the Alabama Fire 04. In a game that was never close from the beginning Raegan Thrasher allowed just 1 hit over 5 innings, striking out 4, and the Giants offense had hits from Sarah Williams (1), Emily Jones (1), Jayden Kurdziel (1), Alyssa Faircloth (1), Raegan Thrasher (HR), Kalea Hewitt (2) in the win.

In their second game of pool play the Giants matched up with the Renegades 03. Jayden Jurdziel started the game in the circle and Emily Jones picked up the win as the Giants charged back to a 3-2 win over 4 innings. At the plate Sarah Williams (2), Emily Jones (2), Jayden Kurdziel (1), Jenna York (1), Nattie Miles (1), and Kalea Hewitt (2B) all had hits in the Giants, with Nattie Miles having the walk off single in the win.

Game 3 of pool play saw the Giants slotted to play the Bombers. Sarah Williams (3B) drove in the 2 go ahead runs in the top of the 4th and Alyssa Faircloth struck out 7 over 3 innings in the 6-4 win. At the Plate Jayden Kurdziel (1), Alyssa Faircloth (2, 1 3B), and Kalea Hewitt (1) all had hits in the win.

The win seated the Giants first going into bracket play, where the again face the Alabama Fire 04. Hits from Jayden Kurdziel (1), Jenna York (3B), Alyssa Faircloth (2), Nattie Miles (2), and Kalea Hewitt (1) all had hits and Emily Jones struck out 5 over 3 innings in the 9-1 win. The win moved the Giants into the Championship game for the second year in a row at the Steel City Showcase.

In the Championship game, the Giants again faced the Bombers. Nattie Miles continued her hot day hitting with 2 more hits including her second walk off of the day in the 5-4 win. Alyssa Faircloth struck out 3 over 3 innings for the win and the Giants also received hits from Sarah Williams (1), Emily Jones (1), Jayden Kurdziel (1), Nattie 2, 2 2B) and Raegan Thrasher (2B). The win gave the Birmingham Giants the Steel City Showcase championship for the 2nd year in a row.
