Talen Whetstone (1-0) started the Giants first pool play game against Browning baseball academy, tossing 2 innings, allowing just 1 hit, while striking out 2, before being relieved by Olen Bryant, who struck out 4 over the final 2 innings of the 8-0 win. At the plate Talen Whetstone(1), Chris Jackson (1), Cole Foster (2, 1 2B), Aubrey Sanders (1), Cayden Knight (1), Devin Schmalz (2), Parker Stewart (2B), Westin Burnett (1) all had hits for the Giants as they cruised to the win.
In game 2 of pool play, the Giants were matched up with MC Elite. Aubrey Sanders (1-0) started the game on the hill, striking out 2 over 3 innings of the 23-1 win. Talen Whetstone (2), Chris Jackson (2, 1 2B), Aubrey Sanders (3), Cole Foster (3, 2 2B), Cayden Knight (2), Devin Schmalz (1), Parker Stewart (3, 1 2B), Kayden Woods (2), Westin Burnett (2), and Olin Bryant (1) all had hits for the Giants as the Giants won easily, and entered pool play as the 1 seed.
