The 06 Birmingham Giants rolled off 4 straight victories on saturday in columbiana to bring home a tournament championship, their second of the fall. Starting their day off with vicious softball, Madison George started the game in the circle, pitching 2 innings before being relieved by Mallorie Thompson who closed out the final 2 innings of the walk off win. At the plate, Madison Feltman (2), who’s walk off single sealed the the win for the Giants, Monica Rose (1) and Madison George (1) all had hits for the Giants in the 5-4 win.
In game 2 of pool play, the Giants were matched up with the Prospects. Caroline Reed 
pitched 4 innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run while striking out 3. Offensively the Giants were led by Madison Miller (1), Kamille Carted (1), Caroline Reed (3B), Anna Grace Bush (1), Destiny Brashears (2B) and Madison George (2) as the Giants rolled to a 7-1 win and the top seed going into bracket play.
Ainsley Boyd allowed just 1 hit over 4 innings while striking out 9, and Madison Feltman (1), Kamille Carter (2B), Monica Rose (2B), Ainsley Boyd (1), Caroline Reed (3b), and Madison George all had hits as the Giants won easily 7-0. The win moved the Giants into the finals for the second time this fall.
In the finals, the Birmingham Giants were matched up with the TTown Thunder. Ainsley Boyd tossed 3 innings, striking out 7 more, while allowing just 2 hits. The Giants offense was led by Madison Feltman (1), Kamille Carter (2B), Caroline Reed (1), Destiny Brashears (1), and Mallory Horton (1) as it pushed across 9 runs in the 9-3 win and their second tournament win of the fall.
