Birmingham Giants take first in their final tournament of the fall.

The Birmingham Giants 12u raised their season record to 16-3 for the fall as they rolled off 4 victories in a row to close out the season and their year with a 39-16 mark. In their first game of pool play of the wood bat tournament, the Giants were matched up with the Sox. 7 first inning runs allowed the Giants to cruise to a 8-2 win. Jay Fuller (1), Caleb Johnson (1), Daniel Stringfellow (2B), Caden Cain (1), Max Hollingsworth (2B), Alex Reynolds (2), Kolton Hudgins (1) and Trevor Cox (1) had hits for the Giants. On the mound, Daniel Stringfellow tossed 2 scoreless innings, striking out 3 , and Max Hollingsworth and Alex Reynolds closed out the final innings of the 8-2 win.

In game 2 of pool play, the Giants were matched up with the Alabama Pistols. Alex Reynolds started the game on the mound, allowing no earned runs over 2 innings, while striking out 2, and Caden Cain closed out the game with 3 scoreless while striking out 3 as the Giants won easily 8-2. At the plate Jay Fuller (2B), Alex Guthrie (2B), Caleb Johnson (1), Daniel Stringfellow (2B), Caden Cain (1), Alex Reynolds (1), Jamison Green (2B),and  Hoss Bensko (1) all had hits in the victory.

The win seated the Giants first overall going into bracket play, where their first opponent would again be the sox. Caden Cain started the game on the mound, tossing 4 innings, allowing just 1 hit while striking out 4, and Alex Guthrie closed out the final inning for the save as the Giants won 3-2. Offensively the Giants received hits from Alex Guthrie (1), Max Hollingsworth (1), Jamison Green (2), Alex Reynolds (1), Kolton Hudgins (1), and Hoss Bensko (1) in the win. The victory sent the Giants into the finals to meet the Hitmen.

Alex Guthrie started the game on the mound for the Giants, allowing just 3 runs on 3 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 5. Jay Fuller (2B), Alex Guthrie (1), Caden Cain (2B), Max Hollingsworth (1), Kolton Hudgins (1), Jamison Green (2), and Hoss Bensko (2) all had hits for the Giants as the rolled to another tournament win, and closed out their fall campaign at 16-3.
