7u Birmingham Giants Grab Super NIT Title

The 7u Birmingham Giants brought home their first Super Nit title this weekend in Cullman, running their season record to 19-1 through march. Leading off their pool play game, the Birmingham Giants were matched up with Showcase Baseball. The Giants wasted little time taking control of the game as the offense exploded for 7 runs in each of the first 3 innings, while allowing only 2. Offensively the Giants were led by Brayden Helms (3) , Camden Buford (3), Will Shoults (3), Luke Francis (3), Landon Coleman (3), Braeden Wainwright (2), Wesley Mullins (2), Wiley Swindle (2) , Easton Scott (2), Braylen Parker (1) and Brons Anderson (2) all had hits to lead the Giants attack.

In game 2 of pool play, the Giants paired off with the Showcase Black Sox. The Giants offense again posted 16 runs in the first 3 innings, on their way to the 16-1 win. Brayden Helms (3) , Camden Buford (2), Will Shoults (1), Luke Francis (1), Landon Coleman (2), Braeden Wainwright (1), Wesley Mullins (2), Wiley Swindle (1) , Easton Scott (1), Braylen Parker (1), Aiden Alexander (1) and Brons Anderson (2) all had hits in the win. The win seated the Giants first overall going into bracket play.

In a rematch of the 2nd pool play, the Giants first bracket play game left the matched up with the Showcase Baseball Black Soxs. Once again the Birmingham Giants offense posted 16 runs through 3 innings on the way to the 16-1 win. Brayden Helms (2) , Camden Buford (2), Will Shoults (2), Luke Francis (2), Landon Coleman (2), Braeden Wainwright (2), Wesley Mullins (2), Easton Scott (1), Braylen Parker (2), and Brons Anderson (3) all had hits to lead the Giants to the Super NIT finals.

In the Finals the Giants were set to play FC Elite. Once again the Giants score 19 runs in 3 innings to coast to the 19-4 win and the championship. At the plate Brayden Helms (3) , Camden Buford (3), Will Shoults (3), Luke Francis (2), Landon Coleman (1), Braeden Wainwright (2), Wesley Mullins (2), Easton Scott (1), Braylen Parker (1), Aiden Alexander (2) and Brons Anderson (3) all had hits to lead the Birmingham Giants to the Championship.
