The Birmingham Giants have announced that they will hold a tryout for the inaugural season of the 12U Lady Giants 2014. The lady giants will be coached by Kiley Barton, formerly of the Bandits.
“I am excited and thrilled to be joining the Giants organization, and pleased to the first Head coach of the Lady Giants” said Barton. At 34, Barton comes with extensive softball experience , playing and coaching softball for 16 years, including playing at Bevill State on scholarship.
Rob Kersey of the Giants said, “We are proud and excited to have Kiley on board with the launch of the New Lady Giants team, she is exactly the person we need to make the Lady Giants a success”.
The Lady Giants will play a full tournament schedule of 10-12 Tournaments throughout the spring and summer.
