As their 8u Campaign draws to a close with 1 week remaing, the Birmingham Giants 8u Baseball raised their season record to 15-7 overall, rolling off 4 victories last weekend in bringing home another title. In their first game of pool play, the Giants were matched with the Bulls. Hits from Mason Jones (3), Braylen Helms (3), Will Shoults (2), Cam Buford (2), Brayden Wainwright (2), Landon Coleman (3), Luke Francis (1), Miles Sanders (3), Taj Salaam (2), Ethan Passmore (1), Brons Anderson (2), and Tanner Egan (3) led the way for the Giants in the 13-9 win.
In game 2 of pool play, the Giants opponent was Hartsell Speed. With a 7 run first inning, the Giants offense powered by hits from Mason Jones (3), Braylen Helms (3), Cam Buford (2), Brayden Wainwright (2), Will Shoults (2), Landon Coleman (2), Luke Francis (1), Miles Sanders (2), Taj Salaam (1), Brons Anderson (1), and Tanner Egan (2) exploded for the 15-5 win.
The win seated the Giants in the #1 seed going into bracket play to face ASA. The Giants offense again exploded for 15 runs in the 15-1 win.
