In their first pool play game, the Giants were matched up with Fusion 14u. Gracelyn McCarrell started the game in the circle and McKenzie Little closed out the final innings of the combined no hitter, the 82nd in Giants history. Gracelyn McCarrell tossed the Birmingham Giants 83rd no hitter, striking out 3, and Sophie Gromko (1), and Michaela Sweet (1) had hits in the 4-0 win. McKenzie Little allowed just 2 hits over 2 innings of the 5-2 win.
