The lady giants will be coached by Kiley Barton, formerly of the Bandits.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/birminghamgiants.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/919263_592851644059017_1832156238_o.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-941\" alt=\"919263_592851644059017_1832156238_o\" src=\"https:\/\/birminghamgiants.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/919263_592851644059017_1832156238_o.jpg\" width=\"144\" height=\"165\" \/><\/a>&#8220;I am excited and thrilled to be joining the Giants organization, and pleased to the first Head coach of the Lady Giants&#8221; said Barton. At 34, Barton comes with extensive softball experience , playing and coaching softball for 16 years, including playing at Bevill State on scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>Rob Kersey of the Giants said, &#8220;We are proud and excited to have Kiley on board with the launch of the New Lady Giants team, she is exactly the person we need to make the Lady Giants a success&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The Lady Giants will play a full tournament schedule of 10-12 Tournaments throughout the spring and summer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Birmingham Giants have announced that they will hold a tryout for the inaugural season of the 12U Lady Giants 2014.
