An original Birmingham Giant, Lauren “Cabbi” Cabiness has been a main stay behind the plate for the Giants since her arrival with the team before last season. Winning the Spring season batting title with a .516 average, second highest in the Giants softball all time, and 4th highest for any Giant alltime and an overall 2014 average .482. Cabbi is also the alltime leader in Hits, singles, walks and runs and onbase percentage for the Birmingham Lady Giants.
